This bright and cheery rehearsal room is named in honor of Jim & Gerry Ruth, both were members who left a generous bequest to The Lambs. The room features a new Steinway Boston upright piano and flexible seating. Lining the walls are sketches, caricatures and cartoons of members, drawn by members. Jim Ruth was a cartoonist, making this an appropriate room to bear his name. Many of Jim’s ‘Lamb’ drawings are still used by the Club today. His wife, Gerry Ruth, served as Historian of the Club and left a generous bequest.
Below: Just outside this room is the member office – and the area many wait for their chance to rehearse during our Low Jinks nights. There’s a file cabinet where members may leave copies of music or photos, and PC connected to the internet (and a printer) for those times when members did not bring their own.
