Lewis was Horace Vandergelder in the National touring company of Hello Dolly!  He is the recipient of the Irish Times Award for his performance at Dublin’s Gate Theater of Arthur Miller’s The Price. Broadway credits include: The Front Page, Fish in the Dark, The Nance, The Producers (Max Bialystock), 45 Seconds from Broadway, The Man Who Came to Dinner (Drama Desk Nomination), Laughter on the 23rd Floor, A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum (Tony Nomination). the female Odd Couple, Candide, Sunshine Boys (Tony Nomination), Minnie’s Boys (Drama Desk Award, Outer Critics Circle Award & Theater World Award). In films: The Verdict, Serpico, To Be or Not To Be, and on television: The Sopranos.
