Walden Peel Scrymser (1841-1897) was a charter member of The Lambs, elected in 1877 as a non-professional member. Scrymser had a real estate firm with his brothers, James A. and Clarence H. He then moved to New Jersey to run a wholesale hardware business.
Scrymser was close to members such as Lester Wallack, and served as a pallbearer in 1880 for the funeral of fellow Lamb Colonel William M. Tileston.
Scrymser died of Bright’s Disease on March 21, 1897, in Elizabeth, New Jersey. He is interred in Green-Wood Cemetery, Brooklyn, Lot 1828, Section 71.
