This week our spotlight is on a member who was an incredible fubulist: Tex O’Rourke. He was a boxer and sportsman, who could not stop making up stories about his past. Tex was so good at it, when he died in 1963 the New York Times ran an obituary that bore little resemblance to the truth. His friends loved him, and that’s why for 60 years Tex has had a bust on a pedestal in our clubhouse. Read about him here.
