Martha Arnold has enjoyed a twenty-year career as a professional opera singer and musical theater performer. Ms. Arnold made her Avery Fisher Hall debut in New York City as soprano soloist in the Mozart Requiem. She toured with Carol Channing in Hello, Dolly!, performed in Fiorello! in the “City Center Encores! Great American Musicals in Concert” series, and sang with the Third National Tour of Phantom of the Opera, directed by Hal Prince. Ms. Arnold was a contract artist at New York City Opera and has sung leading roles with Connecticut Opera, Atlanta Opera, Opera Carolina and the New Jersey State Opera. Operetta credits include Kathie in The Student Prince, Franzi in Wiener Blut and Margot in The Desert Song. Additionally, she is a member of the New York based Blue Hill Troupe, where she has sung the title role in Patience and Julia Jellicoe in The Grand Duke.
