Richard Harriss Barr (21 Oct. 1932-30 Dec. 2021) was a designer and importer of women’s fashions and Scottish woolens in New York.
He was elected to The Lambs in 1971 as a non-professional member (today called a Patron).
Barr was born in New Rochelle, New York. He attended boarding school at St. Andrew’s College in Toronto and completed it at the Hun School of Princeton, New Jersey. As a member of the Class of 1955, he received a bachelor of arts in Art History from Dartmouth.
In 1965 he married Nicole Savoye and had two daughters.
Richard Harriss Barr died Dec. 30, 2021, in Londonderry, Vermont. He was 89 years old.
