Spencer Bettelheim (1895-1937) Treasurer of Sam H. Harris Productions, the lessee of the Lyceum Theatre and president of the Lyco Realty Corporation.
A decorated, wounded veteran of WWI, he had continually suffered the effects of being gassed and had continual pain from this. He was found on the theatre office floor with a self-inflicted head wound. He received a military funeral in Woodlawn Cemetery, The Bronx.
