John Drew Colt (1913-1975) was elected to The Lambs in 1937 as Professional member. He was the son of Ethel Barrymore and the grandson of Lamb Maurice Barrymore. His uncles John Barrymore and Lionel Barrymore were both Lambs.
John Drew Colt was born on September 9, 1913 in Mamaroneck, Westchester County, New York. He was an actor, known for A Double Life (1947). He had made his stage debut at seventeen, in his mother’s Broadway play, A School for Scandal.
He was married to Edith Hope and Marjorie Dow Bancroft. He died on June 6, 1975 in Bristol, Rhode Island. He was buried in Juniper Hill Cemetery.
