She was a Theatrical member from 1990 to 1999; reinstated in 2012. Rene is a member of SAG-AFTRA and is a published author and playwright. She is a frequent guest commentator for major media on the topic of the airline industry, and has performed for several years around the country and overseas in a one-woman show based upon her experiences as a flight attendant.
