Richard “Dick” Hatton (born Clarence Edward Hatton) was a motion picture actor and director. He was elected to The Lambs as a Non-Resident member. The year is not recorded.
Hatton born on November 11, 1888, in Lexington, Kentucky. His first film was The Rose of Wolfville (1916) for Vitagraph. This was probably about the time he joined The Lambs, as the film was made in New York.
He went to California to continue his career. He was an actor and director, known for Westerns such as The Boss of the Ruster’s Roost (1928), Two Fisted Justice (1924), The Seventh Sheriff (1923), and Speeding Hoofs (1927). He had leading roles in productions from various studios including Arrow Pictures and Rayart Pictures.
He was married to Annette Ophelia Burger. He died July 9, 1931, in Los Angeles when he was involved in a three-vehicle car accident. Hatton was forty-two years old.
