Holland, Lee Kendall

Lee Kendall Holland (1896-1959) was elected to The Lambs in 1944 as a Professional member. 

He was born in Raleigh, North Carolina, 8 Aug 1896, one of five sons. His father was C.D. Holland and his mother Lillian King Holland. In the 1920s he worked in aviation, and flew internationally, often making headlines for long-distance flights as a mechanic.

Holland worked as a producer and business manager on Broadway. Among his credits are producing Bathsheba (1947) at the Ethel Barrymore Theatre and business manager of Good Morning, Corporal (1944). He also managed his own music company, Willard Music, while residing in Washington, D.C. 

In the 1950s he was producer and manager of the Cragsmoor Playhouse in Cragsmoor, a hamlet in Ulster County, New York.

Lee Kendall Holland died 24 January 1959, in Manhattan. He was 62 years old.
