Joyce, Jimmy

James “Jimmy” Joyce was born April 29, 1923, in Boston. He was an actor, comedian, and singer. He was elected to The Lambs in 1960 as a Professional member. He appeared on The Ed Sullivan Show, The Jackie Gleason Show, and The Merv Griffin Show. He was as an Irish comedian and opera singer. He appeared in The Swimmer (1968), starring Burt Lancaster.

Joyce served in World War II aboard the USS Wakefield in the U.S. Coast Guard. He married Harriet Bostwick in 1950.

Jimmy Joyce died on January 15, 1979, in New Providence, New Jersey. He was 55 years old.
