Kingsley, Peter

Peter Kingsley was elected a Theatrical member of The Lambs in 1999. He served as Lambs’ Corresponding Secretary and Boy (vice president). He is a member of the Admissions Committee.

A graduate of Hamilton College, he studied at the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art, and the Acting Studio New York.

Kingsley played Lance Weatherwax, in James Hammerstein’s production of The Beauty Part on Broadway. He appeared in the original 1980 Broadway cast of Amadeus, playing the title role on national tour.

Over the years Kingsley has appeared in a great many Off-Broadway and League of Resident Theaters productions. In 2015 he acted in his first play since 1988, appearing as Henry Horatio Hobson in Hobson’s Choice at the Acting Studio in New York City. He most recently appeared as Sebastien in Noël Coward’s Nude With Violin at The Theatre Fellowship of the Fifth Avenue Presbyterian Church.
