Catherine Ladnier is a native Angelino now living in Connecticut, and has been addicted to the theatre since childhood. Her addiction began at the Pasadena Playhouse where Catherine saw the great Ethel Waters in Member of the Wedding and she has been an avid theatergoer ever since. Catherine and her husband, Mickey Robinson, are supporters of the theatre including Goodspeed Musicals in East Haddam, CT, and the Roundabout Theater, New York City. Catherine serves on the Gala Committee of the Goodspeed. She is currently writing a play, Dear Eva, derived from her mother’s letters from and to the Home Front during World War II. Catherine and her collaborator, Paul Janensch, assistant professor of journalism at Quinnipiac University, expect to present Dear Eva in regional theatres across the country.
