Marra, Francisco

Francisco Marra was a charter member of The Lambs, elected in either 1877 or 1878. In August 1878, he was one of the committee members to receive the body of founding Shepherd Henry J. Montague, when his remains were brought from San Francisco to New York for burial. Marra was a native of Italy and an artist. He had a studio on Fourteenth Street, and was a noted portrait painter of actresses and society women.
