Marro, Dorothy

Dorothy Theresa Marro (1930-1997) was elected to The Lambs in 1988 as a Non-Professional Member. She is credited with leading the Club to the Women’s National Republican Club in 1976, where she was a member. The Lambs moved into 3 West 51st Street in 1976 with Marro as a supporter.

Marro was close friends with Shepherd Richard Lincoln Charles and Joyce Randolph. In 1978 she married Frank I. Mellin Jr. She lived in Rye, New York, and Condon Lakes, New Jersey.

Dorothy Marro died December 1, 1997, age 67. She bequeathed her estate to the Actors Fund. She is interred in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Valhalla, New York.
