Miley, John B.

John B. Miley was a wine merchant and a charter member of The Lambs in 1875. Born in County Kildare, Ireland, he was originally a horse breeder and racing enthusiast. He lost his land and fortune and moved to the U.S. After ranching in Wyoming, Miley moved to New York. He was among the first to serve as a treasurer of The Lambs. He was made an Honorary Lifetime member.
