Dr. Karl Ohnesorg was a physician to President Theodore Roosevelt and one of the best known officers in the U.S. Navy. He served as a surgeon.
He was elected to The Lambs in 1909.
While on active service in the Navy, Dr. Ohnesorg held outstanding posts in Europe. For several years he was attached to the American embassy in Germany. He served in the Philippines, the Spanish-American War, and World War I.
He retired as a Commander to Carmel, California. He died May 11, 1933. He is buried in San Francisco National Cemetery.
