Richard Pancoast was a Non-Professional member of The Lambs. It is unclear which year he was elected to membership. He worked in the sales of iron to railroads and had a business in Lower Manhattan that was a broker of iron tubing. He was a native of Philadelphia. Pancoast was also a member of Friends of Fish and Game Club, and was a dog breeder.
Pancoast served in the Civil War. He died Sept. 8, 1909, in Manhattan, he was 69 years old. After services at the Church of the Transfiguration, he was interred in Laurel Hill Cemetery, Philadelphia.
