Taylor, M. Sayle, Dr.

Dr. Marion Sayle Taylor (1889-1942) was a pioneer radio sex advice broadcaster on CBS, then NBC, and finally on Mutual, in the 1930s.

Sayle was born August 16, 1889, in Morrilton, Arkansas.

He was President of the Hygienic Orificial Co., of Chicago. Dr. Taylor authored a series of books on sexual hygiene, including the following titles:

He was elected to The Lambs in 1933 as a theatrical member. Sayle was called “The Voice of Experience” and his lasting contribution to the club is via a painting. In 1934 he donated the St. Patrick’s Day Gambol cover nude painting by Howard Chandler Christy to the club, where it remains today.

Sayle died February 1, 1942, in Hollywood, California.
