Lester Everett Wallack (1892-1980) was a non-professional member of The Lambs, elected in 1926.
Lester E. Wallack was born May 23, 1892, in New York. His parents were Lamb Arthur J. Wallack, one of the six founders of The Lambs at the December 1874 dinner at Delmonico’s, and Jessie Churchill. His grandfather was Shepherd John Lester Wallack, who after the Civil War was a notable actor and theater manager.
He did not enter the family business and worked in sales and as a broker.
Lester E. Wallack died Dec. 22, 1980, in Monterrey, California. He was 88 years old.
