On Monday, August 13th, 2018, The Lambs’ was jammed packed with members and guests for a book talk by Mike Reiss, 30-year writer/producer of the hit animated TV show, The Simpsons.

Mike keep the overflowing crowed laughing for an hour has he joked, punned, and revealed backstories about the most popular animated series in the history of Earth. Using video clips form the show, Mike revealed just a few of the stories inside his book, Springfield Confidential: Jokes, XSecrets, and Outright Lies from a Lifetime Writing for The Simpsons. After his talk Mike greeted friends, fans and Lambs as he signed copies of his book. Among the guests were comedian Jackie Martling, writer Alan Zweibel, and Eric Schoenberg.

Later Mike and his wife, Denise, joined others in the pub to enjoy drinks and dinner. This evening was made possible by our friends at Harvardwood and Spence Porter.
